Green mark ( ) tick mark are main gates, golden marks will be the main door of entering the room. Measuring the length and breadth of the land doors will be determined. We should not forget that if we become unable to place main gate and main door properly then in the said house will bear negative power more and we shall have to suffer disaster one after another.

On he other hand if we place main gate and main entrance to the flat following the picture according Vastu Shastra then there will remain influence of positive power on the residents of the place and the residents will be prosperous and wealthy if the internal makings are done according to Vastu Shastra. Before making any adverse remark after reading this article you think yourself keeping in impartial position to your condition and observe main gate, main entrance and your family condition and then you will find that I have told a correct thing.

Main gate to the flat or house should be very hard, thick and made of auspicious tree according to Vastu Shastra. All doors inside the homestead should be consistent. Door and Chowkat will have to be made of the same timber. Inner doors will be even in number. Length of the main gate shall be more than double of the width. Main door will be opened through right side, i.e. clock-wise and while shutting the door sound should not be much. Doors without sound are the best. It is requested not make high sound while shutting door.

North-east and south-west must be avoided for the purpose of making kitchen. Kitchen in the south-east is the best. If such place is unavailable then north-west may be used. The face of the cook will remain towards east. If exhaust fan is used in the kitchen then the same will have to be placed at the east or south side. Rack shall be made at the west and south side to keep utensils and accessories. Heavy materials are kept at south-west side.

Bath room shall be at the east. This will not be at the north-east or south-west corner. While bath the face will remain towards east, basin if set will in such place so that the mirror will not be in opposite. Dining shall not be visible from the bath room or toilet. Bath room water will be out through north-east corner. If the toilet remains in the bath room then the pan shall be placed at the 2 and a half feet high than the floor. Commode itself is high. Plastic door may be used in the bath room and toilet, but door is not allowed.

Dining room will remain at the west side. Dining table should be set in such way that the faces remain towards east and west direction. Toilet and bath room shall not be visible from the dining space.

Main bed room will have to be constructed at the south-east side and this room will be used by the head of the family and his wife. Other bed rooms will be at the north-east side and always head of the lying person will remain at the south side.

There is sea to the south of Bangladesh. So verandah and balcony will not be constructed at the south side. These will have to be constructed at the north, east and north-east side, as this corner is not very bad.

If it becomes necessary to construct any room on the roof of the multistoried building then this will have to be constructed at the south-west corner or south-west side. No other sides or corner should be selected for the purpose.

In comparison to other sides and corner vacant place should remain at the north-east, north and the east. But the residents of multistoried building will not be able to use this facility and if you want to do something in this vacant space then the north-east side is the best. You can make spring of water and if you do then the water of the spring should of golden or yellow color. You can do a grass lawn in that place, but no tree other than Tulshi tree can be planted. You can plant colored leaf tree at the south or west side and in the south-west side of your flat or house. You can also make rock garden there.
