Following norms and rules of Vastu Shastra wall, light and air movement system, and main entrance gate, main entrance to the room, bathroom, kitchen and other rooms will have to be constructed. It is difficult to do a design of multistoried building complying all the requirements of Rajuk and Vastu Shastra. Since the designer will get approval of the design through placing reason so it will not be difficult for him. Proper skill of constructing multi storied and single storied building can be measured when he will construct each of the flats according to proper Vastu Shastra. Room of the building, bathroom, kitchen, prayer room, and place for TV freezes electrical and Almirah shall be done and placed according to rules of Vastu Shastra and the residents will be benefited. This is the competency of an architect and this is his achievement.

How the multistoried flat building will be constructed in geographical condition of Bangladesh and according to Vastu Shastra are now stated below. This rules can not be applied in any other country, as this may be harmful.

Land: Land will be necessary for construction of multistoried building, but the land must not be a ditch filled by collected soil. If the land is filled in before at least 18 years then the land may be used.

Square land is the best, or at least the land will be rectangular.

The land will be high at south and west side and the east and north will be low. Such particular size of land is not available in Dhaka, so the land will have to bring to this shape. Rain water in such land will flow to low side and this is auspicious.

The land is the best which has the roads in four sides. If the road remains at the north and east of the land then the land is treated as good and in such land main gate of the building will have to be constructed to the north and east side according to Vastu Shastra.

One thing is to be particularly observed that the land on which multistoried building will be constructed shall be specifically correct in direction and corner. This means that north must be north. But there is difference of 07 degree right and left shall not give any significant effect. In Dhaka and Sylhet 05 degree, in Chittagong 03 degree, in Khulna 10 degree, in Rajshahi 08 degree, in Barisal 01 degree is acceptable. Direction will be confirmed with compass. If the degree is more than the same in the different mentioned places then land, flat and building should not be purchased there. If purchase has already been done then a large amount of money will have to be spent for revision according to Vastu Shastra. It appears that in such place different problems arises in business and solution of the same becomes costly. It also becomes cause of late marriage of sons and daughters and there remains many hindrance in auspicious functions.

According to Vastu Shastra north-east direction and corner is cold and as a result underground water reservoir should be constructed to that side at the same time deep tube well will also remain there.

Overhead tank will have to be constructed at the west or corner of the south-west corner without any alternative.

Staircase and lift will be placed at the south-west side and for want of space staircase and lift may be constructed at the south or west side, but under no circumstances it will be at the north-east corner.

At present electrical generator is used in almost all the multistoried flat building in Bangladesh. It is the best to place the said generator at the south-east corner. If it is not possible then the same will be placed at the east side adjacent to south of the south-east side.

Boundary wall of the building shall be high at the south and west side, plastering will be thick and north-east boundary wall will be a little lower.

Car parking space or garage will be at the east and north-east side (if basement remains) and if there is no basement then it will be at the south-east side. Base shall not be done at the south-west, west and south side.

At present a tendency is observed to make office or shop in the multistoried residential building. This is contrary to Vastu Shastra. Through this either the shop owner will be benefited or the house owner. Both of them will not be benefited. Such multistoried building is not fit to live at all.
