Use of land and house as per Vastu Shanstra

LAND »
 
Square land is the best and it may be rectangular. But the rectangular land will be of ratio not less or more than 2:1 in length and width.
 
Land of uneven size should always be avoided. These lands are Land with uneven am, dambru, land with six corners, land with five faces, circular, triangular, kula size, dhanuk size, half circular, sharp four faced, Dikmul land should not be purchased.
 
It is necessary to know the history of the land. It is necessary to know whether the land was a graveyard of animal or man. House should not be constructed on such land.
 
Soil of the land should be tested. Land with Shallya Error should not be purchased. High voltage power wire should not move through the land.
 
North-east side of the land should remain open. It is good to remain water body at the north-east side. It is good to remain high tree, big houses, hilly land etc. at the south and west side of the land.
 
ROAD »
 
It is the best to remain road by the four sides of the house. Even it is good to remain road at the three sides. But at least two roads one at the north and another to the east must have. If only one road exists then this should be at the north or east and other sides are not auspicious. House on the conjunctive place of “T” and “Y” size should never be done.
 
LAND AT THE CORNER »
 
The joint place of two roads is the most expected land. But before purchasing such land it will have to think that the land at the corner will have to leave cross-wise while making house at the corner land according to Purobidhi. This cross-corner cut shall not be at the north-east or south-west.
 
MAKING HOUSE »
 
Land purchase, doing rituals function in respect of land, foundation stone, boundary wall and making house shall be done according to horoscope of the head of the family and in auspicious moment. Before making land boundary wall shall have to be constructed and in the boundary wall south and west side will be high and thick than other sides.
 
BOUNDARY WALL »
 
There will be space between the boundary wall and the house. But the space at the north and east side will be more than the south and the west. Boundary wall will be as follows.
 
 
1. East facing land shall be done at the east of the north-east
2. West facing land shall be done at the west of the north-west
3. North facing land shall be done at the north of the north-east
4. South facing land shall be done at the south of the south-east
 
MAIN ENTRANCE GATE »
 
The main entrance gate of the house depends on the side to which the road is existed. Main entrance of the house may be done at any four sides of the house. But the north and east facing entrance are the best.
 
While placing the entrance gate of the house at any one of the four sides north, east, south and west each side will have to be divided in equal 9 parts and then leaving 3 parts at the left side the entrance door will have to be placed at the fourth part.
 
If the road does not remain neither to the north, east, south and west and remain in some other side then the entrance gate of the house will be placed accordingly as follows.
 
1. North of the north-east
2. West of the north-west
3. North of the north-east
4. South of the south-east
 
Entrance gate should not be at the center place. The main entrance gate will have two parts and it will remain open inside.
 
 
Main entrance gate should not be of planting or half moon size. It will be square or rectangular. No adverse or uneven size entrance gate is acceptable according to Vastu Shastra.
 
There will be Chowkat the main entrance gate. Big tree, any mosque, temple, water tank or electricity sub-station must not remain in front of the house.
